One of those nights

1 comentarios
Tonight is one of those nights where the moon is bright and the wind is cold; the wind whispers an unchained melody that has made my heart struggle and my stomach growl; seated here in the intimacy of my room... While I'm reading/studying but my mind dances on a fairytale where you appear.

And I close my eyes and in my night table there's a dozen of red roses; and I feel you're here and you kiss my forehead and you hold my hand. . . And you sweep my bangs away and you take my glasses off. And you take me for a walk under a brightly moonlight and a cold wind night.

Dear love of my life... Even if I'm waiting in The Lord for you... The waiting is so hard.

I will always be my mummy's little girl!

I know.... It's been a long time since I haven't posted anything... I became a doctor already... And now I'm struggling with studying for my residency test... I've lost almost 20 pounds in a year! Yay! I've grown in amazing ways specially spiritually in this time.... But I promise I'll update each one of the events later... I just had to write this so I won't ever forget this moment and later on I'll be smiling to myself and remembering it... And in 25 years or maybe more I'll be doing the same with my daughter....

I'm Latin; I'm short and I was obese. And the previous description is important because; I have big hips, I'm 5'2" and I was fat... So wearing pants is a problem and will always be for me. The ones that fit perfectly on my waist are too small for my big hips. The ones that fit on my hips are loose on my waist and are long... So long that even if I'm wearing high heels I step on them all the time and they end up tearing from the edge part.

I'm a doctor... I don't have time to make hems on all of my pants... So I use them that way... And they give me that informal cool doctor look ;)  but here's today's so worth of remembering story.....

Today I was seated at church next to my mom... What a surprise when she pulled out a pair of scissors out of her purse and approached my crossed leg to just cut the loose strings on the bottom part of my jeans... My surprise was even bigger when she whispered... -Gimme the other leg!-.  I just smiled and said to myself... My mom.... She's such a prepared woman that she even carries a pair of scissors in her purse.. And she loves me that much that she's always taking care of my look. I praise The Lord that He gave me such loving parents and I bless their precious life.
